Padel Papi guide

Notifications

What the app tells you, what you can switch off, and the three things it will never stop telling you.

Step 1

Settings, then Notifications. Two lists: the ones that are always on, and the ones you decide. Nothing here hides anything from you — a switch turned off stops the push, and the message still arrives in the app.

Step 2

Three are always on and carry no switch. Your court is new bookings, cancellations and answers to a seat you are holding. Money received fires when a player says they paid, and when an academy pays you — the money itself still has to land in your account. Safety is anything about a report.

Step 3

Below them, Paused reminders lists the players whose daily debt reminder you have paused. One row each; tap a name to start reminding them again. The section only appears when you have paused somebody.

Step 4

Then the switches. Running your coaching covers pack requests, results waiting for you and the nudge to write feedback. Monthly summaries is your impact digest. Messages and people covers messages from your players, and it is the one every account has.

Step 5

You cannot switch off a booking or a cancellation, and that is deliberate: the one failure this screen must never cause is a coach who does not know somebody dropped out an hour before the lesson.

Step 6

If the phone itself has notifications turned off for Padel Papi, a banner says so at the top and takes you to the iPhone settings. Your choices below it stay editable while it shows, so you can set them up before you allow anything.

Step 7

One conversation you would rather not hear from is muted in that conversation itself, not here. A muted thread stays quiet whatever Messages and people says.
