Feedback after a session

Two or three minutes after a lesson, while it is fresh: the skills, the note the player reads, and the note only you read.

Step 1

Open a session that has happened and tap Add session feedback, then pick the player. Two or three minutes after the lesson, while it is fresh, is worth more than a long write-up on Sunday.

Step 2

Mark a skill and say where it is: Doing well, Keep working, or Still tricky. Search the list for the shot or the tactic you worked on. Mark one or mark five; the skills you do not touch carry forward unchanged, and the sheet tells you how many those are.

Step 3

Two notes, and they are not the same note. The shared note is what the player reads on their past lesson. The private note is for you alone, the place for what you would not say out loud. Both take dictation if your hands are cold.

Step 4

Set a drill for next time gives them one thing to do between sessions, and it is what their weekly check-in asks about. Photos attach to the feedback — a frame of their grip says more than a paragraph.

Step 5

On their side it lands under Your progress: the skills sorted into Doing well, Keep working and Still tricky, your shared note, and the drill. If they read another language, the app translates what you wrote and keeps your original one tap away.

Step 6

When a mark you just saved is the first time that skill reaches doing well, a congratulations appears already written, for you to edit and send. It goes into your chat with them from you, not from the app. Not now dismisses it and it does not come back.

Step 7

A walk-in with no account has no messages, so a milestone for them is only for your record. Everything else works the same: their skills and their history are on their row whether they ever install the app or not.
