These terms are an agreement between you and Padel Papi, operating from Madeira, Portugal. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Padel Papi.
They sit alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we handle. Both were last updated on the same date, and agreeing at sign-up covers both.
You need to be at least 13 to hold an account. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should agree to these terms on your behalf.
Some features are for adults only, and we say so where they appear. Where a feature is 18+, we ask you to confirm your age. We do not verify it. Telling us you are 18 when you are not is a breach of these terms, and we will remove you from that feature.
Padel Papi introduces players to coaches and helps them arrange lessons. We do not provide the lessons. Your lesson is an agreement between you and your coach.
We do not handle money. You pay your coach directly, by whatever method the two of you agree. We take no commission, we hold no funds, and we cannot refund you — if something goes wrong with a payment, it is between you and your coach.
Cancellations, no-shows, lateness and court fees are the coach's rules, not ours. The app shows you what a coach has set; it does not enforce it on our behalf.
Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
Tell us the truth about who you are. Coaches in particular are publishing a page other people rely on: an invented name, someone else's photo, or qualifications you do not hold are all breaches of these terms.
You can delete your account from Settings at any time. What that deletes, and the few things it does not, are set out in the Privacy Policy.
We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Specifically, you may not:
Your photos, your page, your description of yourself — they stay yours. You give us permission to show them inside the app, and on your public coach page if you have one, so the app can do its job. Nothing more.
You must have the right to everything you upload.
If you see something that breaks these rules, tell us at support@padelpapi.app, or use the report option in the app where one is offered.
We read every report. We act promptly, and within 24 hours where a report alleges a risk to someone's safety. Acting can mean removing the content, removing the person, or both. We never tell anyone who reported them.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we do not have to warn you first if the breach is serious.
If you publish a coach page, you are telling players you are a real coach who can take their booking. Keep your availability and your prices accurate.
If you run an academy, you are handling other people's information — including, sometimes, children's. Only record what you need, only share it with the coaches who need it, and follow the rules in the Children and young players section of our Privacy Policy.
We work hard to keep Padel Papi running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of faults. It is provided as it is.
We are not responsible for what happens between you and a coach, a player or an academy — the quality of a lesson, an injury on court, a payment dispute, or a booking someone does not honour. We are also not responsible for a court or club's own rules and fees.
Nothing here limits any right you have as a consumer under Portuguese or EU law that cannot be limited.
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top and, where the change matters, tell you in the app. Carrying on using Padel Papi after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, and the courts of Funchal, Madeira have jurisdiction — except where consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
Write to support@padelpapi.app. We aim to reply within two working days.
